We accept original research articles, reviews, short communications, case reports/case series, editorials, commentaries/perspectives, letters to the editor, and Clinical Images/photo Essays. Every submission undergoes rigorous peer review to ensure methodological transparency and absolute scientific integrity.

Ethical standards and COPE compliance

BioLogic Scientific adheres strictly to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and ICMJE guidelines. All submissions must represent original, unpublished work free from plagiarism, redundant publication, or unresolved conflicts of interest.

Authors must declare all funding sources and institutional approvals. Any manuscript involving human or animal subjects must include explicit ethical approval statements and informed consent documentation within the methodology section.

1. Manuscript Submission
  • Authors should submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format along with a signed Copyright Transfer Form and Declaration Form to the editorial office via email at biologicscientificwriting@gmail.com.

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Plagiarised or duplicate submissions will be rejected immediately. Authors are encouraged to review the journal’s plagiarism policy before submission.

  • Accepted manuscripts will be acknowledged within 30 days. If no update is received, the authors may contact the editorial office to confirm the status.

2. Manuscript Categories

BioLogic Scientific accepts manuscripts under the following categories:

  • Original Research Articles (3000-4000 words) - Full‑length reports of novel research with detailed methodology, results, and discussion.

  • Review Articles (5000-6000 words) - Comprehensive, critical evaluations of existing literature, including systematic reviews and meta‑analyses.

  • Short Communications (1500-2000 words) - Concise reports of preliminary findings, pilot studies, or novel observations that merit rapid dissemination. These articles follow the structure of original research but are more focused, with limited figures/tables and references.

  • Case Reports/Case Series (2500-3000 words) - Detailed descriptions of unique or rare clinical cases, diagnostic challenges, or therapeutic approaches, often accompanied by images or figures.

  • Editorials (1000–1500 words) -Expert opinions or perspectives on current issues, written by editors or invited contributors.

  • Commentaries/Perspectives (1500–2000 words) - Scholarly discussions or critical insights on recently published work or emerging topics.

  • Letters to the Editor (800–1200 words) - Short communications addressing published articles or presenting preliminary observations.

  • Clinical Images/Photo Essays (500–1000 words) - Brief reports highlighting unique clinical findings or procedures through high‑quality images.

📌 Note: Word limits exclude the title page, abstract and references.

3. Manuscript Preparation

General Format

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12‑point, double‑spaced, single column.

  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides (A4 size).

  • Page numbers: At the bottom centre of each page.

  • Language: English, clear, concise, and scientific.

  • Author names or affiliations must not appear in the body text to ensure double‑blind peer review.

4. Structure

Manuscripts should be organized under the following headings:

A. Title Page

  • Author details - Full title, author names, affiliations, and corresponding author details.

  • Abstract – 200-300 words, structured as Background, Purpose, Methods, Results, Conclusion.

  • Keywords – 5–7 relevant terms.

B. Blinded Manuscript

  • Introduction – Briefly present the background, outline the objectives and highlight the significance of the study.

  • Materials and Methods – Describe procedures clearly; cite standard methods and mention statistical tools used (if applicable).

  • Results – Present findings concisely using tables or figures; avoid duplication.

  • Discussion – Interpret the results in the context of previous studies; highlight strengths/ limitations

  • Conclusion – Summarise key outcomes and clinical relevance.

  • Declaration by Authors– Mention acknowledgement, funding sources, conflict of interests, etc.

  • References – Follow Vancouver style; number them sequentially as they appear in the text.

5. Figures and Tables
  • Include figures and tables within the text, not at the end.

  • Use high‑resolution images (≥ 300 dpi).

  • Each figure/table must have a clear caption and be cited in the text.

  • Avoid repeating data in both tables and figures.

6. Ethical and Publication Standards
  • Studies involving humans or animals must include details of ethical approval.

  • Authors must disclose conflicts of interest and funding sources.

  • IJAMSR strictly adheres to COPE guidelines on publication ethics.

7. Peer Review

All submissions undergo a double‑blind peer review process.

  • Reviewers and authors remain anonymous.

  • Editorial decisions (acceptance, revision, or rejection) are based on originality, scientific merit, and clarity.

  • The review process typically takes 4–8 weeks.

8. Copyright and Licensing
  • At the time of submission, authors are required to sign and upload the Copyright Transfer Form along with their manuscript.

  • All published articles are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction with proper citation.

9. Author Declaration

At the time of submission, authors are required to sign and upload the Author Declaration Form along with their manuscript.

The declaration confirms that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been submitted elsewhere.

  • All authors have contributed significantly and approved the final version.

  • Ethical approval has been obtained where applicable.

  • Conflicts of interest and funding sources are disclosed.

10. Publication Charges
  • BioLogic Scientific operates on an open‑access model. A nominal processing fee is applicable after acceptance. Details will be communicated via email.

11. Fast‑Track Publication
  • Authors may request fast‑track review and publication for urgent submissions. Contact the editor for details.

12. Checklist Before Submission
